Following Rich Kinder
In today's article, Carl Delfeld mentions the departure of former Enron President Rich Kinder as the beginning of the end for the infamous company.
Well Kinder went on to become a partner in an incredibly successful company that we recommended here last month – Kinder Morgan Energy Partners (NYSE: KMP).
And a very similar, but much cheaper version of KMP is Enterprise Product Partners (NYSE: EPD).
Marc Lichtenfeld's S.T.A.R.S. computer system recently identified Enterprise Product Partners as a good "Buy." Since Marc recommended the stock on December 14 to subscribers of The Oxford Systems Trader, Enterprise has already gained over 13%, not including dividends.
Here's what Marc told his readers:
"Enterprise Product Partners is a master limited partnership (MLP) that has over 50,000 miles of pipelines and storage capacity of 192 million barrels of natural gas liquids and oil. It also can store up to 27 billion cubic feet of natural gas.
"Enterprise came up on S.T.A.R.S for reasons including its dramatic increase in book value per share in the past year. Its current book value is $13.35 per share versus just $3.16 last year. Enterprise also improved its return on equity (ROE) to 13.80% from 2.84% last year and is well above its five-year average of 5.58%.
"The company is one of the largest energy MLPs with significant exposure to key shale regions in Pennsylvania and Texas.
"Between 2010 and 2012 the company is putting $5 billion to work in projects, all of which will be online and producing cash flow by the end of 2012.
"We are entering the position based on S.T.A.R.S. recommendation and my analysis (both fundamental and technical) that the stock should go significantly higher. However, while we're waiting, we will get paid a dividend of $2.45 per share annually, for a yield of 5.4%."
